Agon, the line of premium gaming monitors from leading manufacturer AOC, has unveiled its latest impressive model. The Agon AG493UCX is a 49-inch panoramic curved display with a Super Ultra-Wide aspect ratio of 32:9 at Dual Quad HD resolution (5120 x 1440 pixels).

VA panel technology promises increased contrast ratios and wide angle viewing to further enhance immersion in the game. Visual quality is assured with DisplayHDR400 certification and a wide colour gamut (90% Adobe RGB). 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time and Adaptive Sync support ensure precise and smooth gameplay even at high framerates.

The wide format provides a vastly superior game display than dual-monitor setups, without a prominent vertical split at the focus of the action. The monitor supports side-by-side display of two separate devices if desired, with a built-in KVM switch to share peripherals between computers. USB-C docking ensures comprehensive connectivity, including Ethernet, up to 65W device charging and display input.

The monitor can be rotated, tilted and adjusted in height – pivot is missing, of course, due to the immense width! It also has support for VESA stands and wall mounts. Integrated 5W stereo speakers provide superior anytime/anywhere audio.
