SPL Expands PeopleSoft Joint Development and Marketing Agreement to Include APAC Region.
SPL has renewed and expanded its Joint Development and Marketing Agreement (JDMA) with PeopleSoft to include Asia Pacific and to expand PeopleSoft Enterprise Revenue Management?s target markets from utilities to other industries.
The new JDMA continues an agreement initiated in 1999 under which SPL used PeopleTools to develop a version of its popular customer care and billing software.
PeopleSoft can now market the Revenue Management solution as part of its enterprise application suites to other industries, including insurance, banking, and government revenue collection agencies such as Taxation and State Revenue in the Asia Pacific region.
The solution is an integrated, high-volume customer revenue management solution designed for complex, service-oriented organisations. It enables organisations to increase revenue effectiveness, drive operational efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction.
?What?s important for PeopleSoft?s customers is accurate billing to a cost-effective model. This relationship with SPL extends our ability to deliver our Revenue Management solution beyond our current markets, and into new industries including service and government sectors,? said Ray Kloss, Director Product and Industry Marketing, Japan and Asia Pacific, PeopleSoft.
?PeopleSoft Enterprise Revenue Management?s features and functions are similar to our CorDaptix? billing and customer care system,? explained Brenton McPherson SPL?s Senior VP Asia Pacific. ?The solution has been a big hit with municipal utilities in North America that also use PeopleSoft enterprise software because the products are integrated out-of-the-box and the user interface has the PeopleSoft ?look and feel?. The excellence of the product has also led to it being selected even by utilities without other PeopleSoft applications.?
