5 Ways to Green your home this Spring

Announcement posted by 360PR 08 Sep 2020

Spring has arrived and according to Mark Paul, horticulturist and founder of The Greenwall Company, there is no better time to update your indoor or outdoor space by adding a living greenwall, greenroof or bespoke feature to your home. With innovation in greening systems expanding into new custom made gabion, that are lightweight and designed to fit any space, the options are endless.

Mark Paul, founder of The Greenwall Company says, “Greening your home or now work-from-home space doesn’t need to be a mammoth task and thanks to our new customisable gabions you can get creative and make the most of any space in or outside your home. Or if you just want to simply hide the bins, cover up an ugly wall or fence and look out your window and see greenery then our traditional panel greenwalls and EcoPillows can simply be installed pre-planted, the only thing we need to access is to water.

“All of our installations are set up with an automated irrigation system to ensure minimal maintenance from the homeowner and to keep the plants flourishing all year round,” said Mark.

All of The Greenwall Company’s products use Mark’s very own and patented soilless media, which is made up of 94% recycled materials including PET Bottles, polystyrene and even coffee ground waste from the local coffee shop. The media is so light in weight in comparison to traditional soil that it makes the installation of a greenwall, roof or gabion so much simpler and more cost-effective as it removes the need to reinforce the surface it is being applied too.

The options include Customised Gabions, Traditional Greenwalls, Greenroofs, Feature Walls and Blades. All installations are bespoke and are designed to last the lifetime of the surface they are applied to. Many can also easily be relocated, should the owner move and want to take the wall or gabion with them.
