Phone Ensures Better Consumer Experience and Faster Market Introduction
Openwave Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: OPWV), the worldwide leader of open IP-based communication infrastructure software and applications, today announced that the Sony Ericsson T68i MMS-enabled mobile phone and the Openwave* Multimedia Messaging Services Center (MMSC) have certified interoperability. The certification plan for MMS interoperability, developed in accordance with 3GPP and WAP specifications, marks Openwave's commitment to working with ecosystem partners, such as Sony Ericsson, the joint venture between Ericsson and Sony Corporation, to ensure the compatibility of content and services in order to create the best possible experience for mobile users.
