MetLife Australia awarded Best Insurer in 2020 Super Fund of the Year Awards

Sydney, 22 October 2020 – MetLife Australia has won Best Insurer in the 2020 Super Fund of the Year Awards. The prestigious 7th annual awards aim to spotlight best practice in the superannuation industry and recognise organisations at the forefront of improving retirement income solutions and products. 

MetLife took out the Best Insurer gong, announced this afternoon at a virtual awards ceremony, beating out competition from five other insurers. 

MetLife CEO Richard Nunn said: “We’re delighted and humbled to have won the Best Insurer Award in the Super Fund of the Year Awards.”

The judging, managed by The Heron Partnership, an independent actuarial and superannuation consultancy, noted MetLife’s focus on customer wellbeing.
