Innovation Out of COVID: Unbridely Launches Unbridely Connect Beta

The Australian wedding industry has been decimated in 2020.
COVID restrictions, job losses and closed borders have meant that thousands of celebrations have been postponed, cancelled or downscaled and it’s not just engaged couples who’ve had their heart broken.
Often securing work 12-18 months in advance, professional wedding vendors have taken a massive hit to the number of current and future bookings for their specialist products and services.
Adelaide born and bred, award-winning celebrant and founder of wedding blog Unbridely, Camille Abbott, knew that she needed to find a way to help her colleagues.
Bringing together a small group of South Australian wedding vendors in a private Facebook group in May, they focused their energy on how they could adapt to the market needs.
Together, the group developed and refined a new concept in wedding planning – a rapid response enquiry tool called Unbridely Connect.
Unbridely Connect allows engaged couples to search for reputable wedding suppliers by location, date, time and category and within 12 hours, receive an email with up to 3 talented, experienced and reliable vendors who all are available and eager to work with them - all without divulging their personal information to the suppliers, no more wedding spam!
All Unbridely Suppliers have been hand-picked by Camille, have 2+ years wedding industry specific experience, business insurance and an ABN, and believe in the core values of inclusivity, clear communication, creative mindset and excellence in customer service.
