Runecast strengthens the rhipe APAC vendor portfolio

APAC’s leading distributor of cloud solutions and services, rhipe (ASX: RHP), today announced that it has been appointed as an APAC distributor for Runecast, a globally leading predictive analytics solution provider for VMWare, AWS and Kubernetes.

The ability to proactively monitor and receive alerts for technical issues as soon as they happen is vital to ensure the smooth management of multi-cloud environments and adherence to security compliance. Runecast uses AI and other technology for predictive issues management and security intelligence, delivering proactive risk mitigation, saving troubleshooting time and costs, and ensuring security compliance against security standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS and CIS. Runecast recently won Computing's Cloud Security Product of the Year.

Runecast was founded in 2014 by a team of virtualization professionals with a vision: to help VMware admins have better control over their environments. Its flagship Runecast Analyzer is a disruptive, patented technology that proactively scans IT infrastructures to identify and report on all known configuration, best practices and security issues that can be prevented within that system using VMware’s own published documentation.

Users benefit from greater mission-critical transparency. Runecast Analyzer also runs securely on-premise (with offline capabilities, so that no data needs to leave the customer organisation). This is especially important to financial, banking, defence, healthcare and government sectors.

Runecast joins other vendors that have recently joined the rhipe portfolio, including Octopus Cloud and Nerdio.
