Humphrey B. Bear Hits the Road for Exclusive LIVE Shows Across Regional Qld

Australia’s beloved television treasure, the inimitable Humphrey B. Bear is hitting the road for a series of exclusive shows for regional Queensland.

The tour is proudly supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and has been created and produced by OZPIX Entertainment and Red Ridge Interior Qld Ltd in association with Humphrey B. Bear Entertainment. 

The new and original ‘Put on Your Dancing Shoes!’ live dance extravaganza was written and directed by OZPIX Entertainment Executive Producer Julie Greene and promises to bring together fans and families across generations. The 30-minute interactive show features songs and dances from across the ages created specifically for live performances by Australia’s favourite magical bear, Humphrey, and his supporting dance troupe. 

“COVID-19 hit everyone pretty hard, including regional Australia, where many had already suffered through years of drought and then bushfires. We are excited to tour these wonderful remote communities to share music and dance in a way that brings everyone together” said OZPIX CEO Craig Kocinski. 
‘Put on Your Dancing Shoes!’ is an intergenerational musical experience that everyone can enjoy and includes hit songs that are fun for all ages like, Rock Around the Clock, Surfin’ USA, We Are Family, Land Down Under, and Macarena. 

Take a journey through the ages in this moving and grooving musical experience with Australia’s favourite bear. Toe tapping, finger clicking and super grinning will occur as we dance, prance and sing-a-long our way down memory lane creating some new memories of our own. ‘ Put On Your Dance Shoes!’ also offers a special chance to meet and greet Humphrey and his friends at the end of the show, in addition to other activities. 

After a long COVID hibernation Humphrey B. Bear is hoping to dance his way through Australia so stay tuned as more dates around the country become confirmed.
