High level roundtable on 28 January to examine trust in COVID-19 vaccine supply chain

MEDIA ALERT: Public health officials and pharmaceutical executives will hold an on-the-record roundtable session to examine trust in the COVID-19 vaccine supply chain. 

Leaders from the WHO, the World Bank, Deloitte, J&J and GS1 to explore early learnings and what must be done moving forward to ensure successful global distribution and administration of the COVID-19 vaccines. 

WHAT:

This GS1 Healthcare Executive Dialogue will bring together senior leaders from the healthcare industry and major organisations across the life sciences and healthcare value chain to discuss some of the key challenges, opportunities and early learnings presented by the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines across the globe. The event will be on the record and will include time for media Q&As.

A new Deloitte white paper highlights the “urgent need” for common standards across the healthcare supply chain as the world gears up for the largest deployment of vaccines in history. Global public health officials have been strongly arguing for a while for the “need to trace every vaccine dose”.
