TOA Global welcomes new VP of Philippines

Outsourced accounting services provider TOA Global is pleased to announce that Gemma Gaerlan has joined the company as VP of Philippines, effective Feb. 1, 2021.   

Based in Clark, Philippines, Gemma will lead the Philippines leadership team in its efforts to bring customer success to TOA Global's clients and employees.

 
Gemma will be responsible for driving strategic objectives in the region and ensuring TOA's clients and employees continue to receive a consistent world-class experience. This includes providing strategic and operational oversight and direction in line with global objectives and growth, driving performance, engagement, culture and satisfaction in the Philippines teams, and representing the hearts and minds of TOA's clients and employees in a manner that empowers pride and belonging. 

Gemma is a CPA with 10 years of accounting experience and more than 15 years of business process outsourcing experience, giving her great insight into the worlds of our clients and employees. She has spent the last five years with Ernst & Young, which is one of the Philippines’ largest accounting employers, taking it from one (she was employee No. 1) to more than 3,000 employees.  

She comes to TOA Global with an extensive background across large organizations and financial services. She has also worked for IBM, Accenture and AIG. She will report to Ben Vickers, country manager for Philippines.
