B. Braun and Demic ICS Collaborate on High-Tech Hand Hygiene Solution

B. Braun Australia, a leading provider of innovative medical products and services for the healthcare industry, announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Demic Infection Control Stations (Demic ICS), to provide a high-tech hand hygiene solution for the global healthcare market.

The collaboration provides B. Braun with the exclusive distribution rights in the healthcare market of Demics ICS’s Concierge hand sanitiser dispensing system, which will dispense B. Braun’s Softa-Man® hand sanitisers.

B. Braun’s Softa-Man® is an antiseptic hand rub for hygienic and surgical hand preparation, with proven efficacy against bacteria including Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), mycobacteria, fungi, enveloped viruses and rotavirus.

Demics ICS’s Concierge is a contactless hand sanitiser dispensing system that includes an infra-red thermometer, which displays an individual’s temperature on a large screen and is equipped with an audio alarm that is triggered when the temperature reading exceeds a pre-set limit. The system also functions as a communication platform, with a display screen that can be securely and remotely updated in real time.
