Furniture purchases having a sustainable future at LuxeHome.Shop

Based in Sydney, CEO of LuxeHome.Shop Louise Vangestel, has today announced this initiative. Louise said ‘We are partnering with CarbonClick, a New Zealand company making it easy for people and businesses to help fight climate change. There’s only one thing we’re more passionate about than LuxeHome.Shop… the planet!
The nature of furniture and its delivery requirement to be in show room condition when it arrives at your door, requires the packaging to be robust. We recognise we have to step up and offer a way for our business and our customers to be more sustainable. What excited us about CarbonClick, is that the funds are split locally and internationally between flagship forest developments. You can actively monitor these to see the real-world difference you are making. The carbon offset projects include:

  • Forest conservation project, North Carolina, USA
  • Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor, Perth, Australia
  • Arawera native forest conservation, Taranaki, New Zealand
  • Rarakau forest, Southland, New Zealand

As LuxeHome.Shop is so customer centric we also love the fact that an email will be sent to our customer giving them a “track and trace” number which they can click to see where their funds have been allocated.’

Louise advises “As a business, we also have a project focus so it’s exciting to also offer larger property developers and interior designers carbon offsets for their projects across Australia. As an online retailer we recognise we have to be the leader and inspiration for our industry as the world needs the right initiatives for the future”
