Friends With Dignity Little Friends Scholarship Round 8 Results Announcement

// FRIENDS WITH DIGNITY LITTLE FRIENDS SCHOLARSHIP ROUND 8 RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT ///

The Friends With Dignity Little Friends Scholarship Panel met recently to review and decide on the recipients of Round 8 of its bi-annual Little Friends Scholarship Program.

The nationwide domestic and family violence support charity recognised as The Australian Charity of the Year 2018, received a program record of 275 scholarship applications from children all over the country, and is pleased to announce that the organisation has been able to award 135 scholarships at a value of $53,764.34 to the most deserving of children who have been through such extreme trauma, at such a young age.

Through the Australian-first scholarship program, Friends With Dignity is helping children by funding the purchase of laptops and tablets, swimming lessons, equine therapy for children with mental health issues and PTSD, school camp fees, new school uniforms for children who have moved time and time again fleeing from their perpetrator, and enabling kids to pursue their passion in music, dance, drama and sport.
