LogRhythm seals new distribution partnership with Netpoleon

Announcement posted by PR Deadlines 16 Mar 2021

SYDNEY, March 16. Netpoleon and LogRhythm, the company powering today’s security operations centres (SOCs), have entered a strategic commercial partnership.

The agreement will see Netpoleon become LogRhythm’s value-add distributor, to stimulate the company’s continued growth in the Australian market for enterprise-class log and security event management solutions.

With more than 20 years’ experience as a value-add distributor of leading technology vendors in Asia Pacific, Netpoleon’s expertise in cyber security makes the company an ideal partner for LogRhythm. Netpoleon is headquartered in Singapore, with offices in Australia, India and six other countries across the Asia Pacific region.

LogRhythm's security intelligence and analytics platform empowers global organisations to detect, respond to and neutralise cyber threats immediately and efficiently.

LogRhythm's award-winning platform unifies next-generation SIEM, log management, network monitoring, endpoint monitoring, and advanced security analytics. It also helps organisations meet compliance requirements and proactively respond to IT operations challenges.

LogRhythm’s advanced NextGen SIEM platform offers comprehensive analytics and security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) in a single platform.

The solution includes an option for network traffic analysis, including full packet capture, layer 2-7 deep packet inspection and analysis with automatic identification of over 3,500 applications that is fully integrated with the SIEM.

Simon Howe, VP Sales Asia Pacific, LogRhythm, said: ”We’re excited to partner with Netpoleon in supporting organisations from current and future cyber security threats. Their cyber security skills, experience and market recognition will complement our solutions’ innovation and NextGen SIEM platform leadership to provide Australian enterprises with industry leading threat detection and response capabilities, including analytics and security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) in a single platform.

“Recently we announced the acquisition of MistNet, a cloud-based analytics platform that delivers vast network visibility and accurate threat detection.  This will enable our Australian partners to deliver further innovation through intelligent, machine learning-based detection and response capabilities to solve current and emerging security and risk problems.”

Paul Lim, regional director of ANZ at Netpoleon, said: “As enterprises, government and service providers look to building enhanced detection and response capabilities to mitigate cyber attacks, we are seeing demand for modern security operation centres, hence the value of LogRhythm’s behaviour-based AI for the modern SOC, LogRhythm is well placed.

"Demand for solutions that can detect and neutralise cyber adversaries before they can cause a material breach has never been greater," said Paul Lim, regional director of ANZ at Netpoleon.

“The coronavirus pandemic has created new challenges for businesses as they adapt to an operating model in which working from home has become the ‘new normal’. Companies are accelerating their digital transformation, and cybersecurity is now a major concern.

“The reputational, operational, legal and compliance implications could be considerable if cyber security risks are neglected. Cyber attackers see the pandemic as an opportunity to step up their criminal activities by exploiting the vulnerability of employees working from home.”

Lim added: “Companies need to make their remote working practices resilient to cyber attacks and enhance their development and application of security measures. Our strategic partnership with LogRhythm will ensure that our customers will continue to stay ahead of the curve by reducing the likelihood and impact of a cyber attack.”
