7.00pm Official Opening with Rae Johnston, MC, for Acknowledgement to Country and Welcome; opening speeches commencing with Beth Carey, WAI Ambassador Australia and Angela Kim, Education Ambassador, Minister Karen Andrews via video, Professor Joanna Batstone, Director, Monash Data Futures Institute, and the Hon Victor Dominello- Minister for Customer Service.

7.30pm Opening Speeches end / First Awards

10.15pm MC Rae Johnston introduces the Hon Julie Bishop and Professor Joanna Batstone to stage to co-present the Grand Award- Australia - New Zealand WAI Innovator of the Year.
