Australian floods. How do we combat our kid’s anxiety about what is happening? This book tells it all.
Announcement posted by All About PR 23 Mar 2021
As children are bombarded with images on TV and online of homes, businesses, and land underwater, now more than ever can parents and educators be supported with the brand-new book Earth Matters: Loving Our Planet, which explains climate change in a way kids can understand.
According to experts, climate change increases the probability of heavy rains and flooding. This happens because warmer air holds more moisture. And, right now, many Eastern parts of Australia are under water.
Earth Matters: Loving our Planet addresses all the current climate change issues and is a clear, well-illustrated book that will support families to sit down and have the conversation.
From explaining our atmosphere to the overuse of fossil fuels, the increase in greenhouse gases to Global Warming, author and climate change activist Carole Wilkinson ensures she covers the issues currently facing our modern planet.
With both issues and solutions perfectly outlined in this book, supported with beautiful illustrations by Hilary Cresp, Earth Matters: Loving Out Planet can alleviate anxiety in children and empower them with solutions to do their bit.
