ECO-FRIENDLY HOTEL COMING TO BYRON

#  SYDNEY’S MUSTACA & MELBOURNE’S PELLIGRA FAMILIES FORM A FAMILY FUND TO MAKE PLAY FOR BYRON BAY’S PREMIUM FOOD, BEVERAGE, ENTERTAINMENT & LEISURE PRECINCT

The Mustaca and Pelligra families are two of Australia’s most prominent families who have joined forces in a fund backed by family offices to make a long term investment in Byron Bay by the acquisition of the Mercato on Byron shopping centre and the adjoining hotel development site. The 1.1 hectare site at 98-116 Johnson St Byron Bay is the geographical centre of the most sought after real estate on the planet .

This acquisition is the first for our Family Fund headed by fund managers Jason Meares of Option Group & Chakyl Camal of Pantera Group. There will be a brand selection for the hotel operator in keeping with Byron’s community over the coming months and once the appropriate permits have been issued by the local stakeholders and the governing bodies then with their blessings construction will commence immediately.”
