Nectar Mortgages teams up with award-winning credit repair agency

Announcement posted by Clear Credit Solutions 12 Jul 2021

One of Australia’s leading franchise brokerages, Nectar Mortgages, has signed its first partnership with a credit repair agency, Clear Credit Solutions.

One of Australia’s leading franchise brokerages, Nectar Mortgages, has signed its first partnership with a credit repair agency, Clear Credit Solutions.

Nectar General Manager, Stephen Harris, said the partnership will benefit both the group’s brokers and customers.

“There’s nothing more frustrating than putting in lots of time, work and effort into a client’s application – only to fall at the last hurdle when you discover they have a poor credit score,”  Mr Harris said.

“Now our brokers can refer these clients to Clear Credit Solutions to fix their credit problems. This, in turn, will help those customers get loans.”

“Clear Credit Solutions operate to a high code of ethics, providing a refund to clients if they can’t fix their problem. Also, it’s an award-winning business,” Mr Harris said. Nectar themselves have recently been named as finalists in the upcoming Australian Broking Awards, in the 'Major Brokerage of the Year – Franchise' category.

ASIC recently mandated that all credit repair agencies need to have an Australian credit licence from 1 July 2021 with the aim of cleaning up the industry.

Clear Credit Solutions director Peter Cole said the agency was already operating to high ethical standards well before it became compulsory.

“We are proud to be a reputable agency that promises a full refund if we’re unsuccessful. It’s a large part of the reason why we’ve been named a ProductReviews.com.au Awards Winner for the past two years, in what was an unregulated industry” he said.

Mr Cole said the partnership between Nectar and Clear Credit Solutions might be the start of a new trend.

“Partnering with a quality credit repair agency provides better outcomes for borrowers. So, I suspect we’ll see more partnerships announced now the ASIC regulations have come into force.”
