Newchip investment program set to unleash Warrp to the world

Announcement posted by Warrp Pty Ltd 13 Aug 2021

Warrp is scaling new heights with accelerated investment prospects and scalability as its seed funding round nears a close.

MELBOURNE, Victoria, August 13, 2021 - Like a rocket, Australia’s newest crowdsourced appraisals platform is about to go stratospheric after its acceptance into the Newchip Accelerator funding program.

Newchip is a US-based web and mobile investment platform that connects start-ups to investors with its immersive online accelerator program.

The program presents a major opportunity for Warrp and a sign of immense confidence in the company’s market traction since launching in May 2021.

Warrp Co-Founder and CEO, Matthew Ng, said the Newchip program strengthened investor positions with its current seed funding round, providing far greater investor interest and accessibility now and into the future with its Series A funding round in 12-18 months.

“This is a huge milestone achievement for Warrp, a big boost to our ability to scale, and will generate immeasurable benefit to our current and future funding rounds,” said Mr Ng.

“We expect to grow the value of this business to no less than five times its current value prior to our Series A raise in late 2022.

“Through Newchip we’ll have the expertise to raise capital with far greater success and effectiveness, which is timely given our current seed funding round closes at the end of August.

“The window of opportunity to invest is closing with only a few weeks left to get involved in an Australian start-up that’s only going from strength to strength.”

As Warrp’s value grows, so too has its focus maturity as an online crowdsourced appraisals platform, presenting a more niche focus on high-value pre-owned collectibles, electronics, luxury wear, and vehicles.

The more focused target market serves to benefit from the company’s fraud-adverse safety philosophy and safety functions such as its in-built escrow payment system and Safe Meetup & Pickup marketplace network.

Warrp Co-Founder and CTO, Roman Granovskyi, said the company had kicked off a Trusted Partner Plus campaign to onboard major buying group partners that aligned to Warrp’s niche target product categories.

“This pilot campaign will encourage buying groups to partner with Warrp to instigate instant buy offers for products listed on the platform, which means quicker sales for our users,” said Mr Granovskyi.

“We’re targeting buying groups such as EB Games, Cash Converters, CarsForSale.com.au, Manheim, Modsie, and Artsy, to name a few.

“We’re offering a no-fee pilot Trusted Partner Plus offer for three months to give buying groups a risk-free opportunity to get involved.”

Warrp is committed to providing users a safe crowdsourced appraisals platform to quickly and easily buy and sell pre-owned goods online.
