The Wild Secrets Sex Census Results Are In

Announcement posted by PHE International Pty Ltd 19 Aug 2021

How and when are Australians getting it on?

Melbourne | 19 August 2021 | Last week Australia’s largest online retailer of sex toys, Wild Secrets released their very own Sex Census to gain an insight into what can be improved in the sex lives of singles and couples alike.
Well, they’ve crunched the numbers and the results are in. Unsurprisingly, Australians love sex toys, with 51 percent of those surveyed using their sex toys at least once a week! Not only that, but 79 percent of those surveyed own at least three sex toys, while 43 percent have an enviable collection of six or more toys.
Interestingly, Northern Territorians boast the biggest collections, with 94 percent of them owning three or more sex toys, and 61 percent owning an impressive six or more toys which will doubtlessly include the Adam and Eve Rose Gold Edition Wand Massager, a top-seller of the territory.
Concerns for toy collections in New South Wales and Victoria can be forgotten, as sales climax stronger than ever amidst stay at home orders with sales doubling from 2019 in both states.
Data additionally reveals that 59 percent of participants purchase sex toys more than once a year, and with individuals taking control of their pleasure more than ever, best-sellers Lelo Enigma G-Spot & Clitoral Vibrator and the Lelo F1S V2X  men’s stroker are guaranteed to be lining the bedside drawers of most Aussies.
With 84 percent of those surveyed using sex toys with a partner, the in demand We-Vibe Chorus Couples Vibrator is a top-three choice for couples, along with the Strap U Evoke Vibrating Strapless Strap-On and the Satisfyer Vibrating Silicone couples ring. Respondents from the Australian Capital Territory give us all a run for our money, however, with a whopping 92 percent of the state using sex toys with a partner.
Unsurprisingly, clitoral stimulators are among the most popular toys in the ACT with sales of clitoral vibrators growing at twice the rate of any other types of vibrator overall. Oddly enough, watermelon-flavoured condoms are massive sellers for couples in Australia’s capital. ACT we see you, and commend your commitment to safe (yet, tasty) sex.
Couples are also increasingly becoming interested in bondage products, with the Bondage sub-category of Couples Toys having the highest probability of being added to cart when visiting the site compared to any other category on Wild Secrets
Queenslanders predominantly buy the most units of the Satisfyer Pro 2 clitoral stimulator, the world’s number one selling sex toy, and with 55 percent of those surveyed using their toys at least once a week, adults in Queensland are definitely getting the most bang for their buck out of anyone!
So, who do you think is having the most sex? 45–54-year-olds we’re looking at you! Not only does this age bracket have the most regular sex, but they’re also the most adventurous, incorporating toys into their play more than any other age group.
Could it be the freedom of a now empty nest, or simply having more time on their hands to head to the beach house? Wild Secrets likes to think it’s their increased use of toys in the bedroom, which seems to be the formula for a more active and fulfilling sex life. More toys in the bedroom equals better sex, and better sex leads to more sex. Regardless, we’re going to take a page out of their book and get busy!
