iTunes Offers Exclusive Pre-Order of New Paul McCartney Album

Apple today announced that thirteen-time Grammy award winner Paul McCartney's new album, "Memory Almost Full"  is available for digital pre-order beginning today exclusively on the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com.au).  Additionally, Paul McCartney's full catalogue of 25 solo albums will be available for the first time digitally on iTunes later this month.
“Paul McCartney is one of the greatest musicians of all time, and we're extremely excited to offer his first digitally distributed album on iTunes," said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.
"’Memory Almost Full’ is a very personal album for me, and I'm thrilled to let fans experience it in a whole new way,” said Paul McCartney.  “There’s no better time to make this music available through iTunes.”
"Memory Almost Full", McCartney's latest solo album, will be generally available for purchase on 6th June, 2007 and represents the first global release by Hear Music, the newly formed record label from Starbucks Entertainment and Concord Music Group.
The iTunes Store features the world’s largest catalogue with over three million songs, 2,000 music videos, 100,000 podcasts and 20,000 audiobooks. The iTunes Store has sold over 2.5 billion songs, making it the world’s most popular online music store.
