The first Wahlburgers in Australia will be located just steps away from the Sydney Opera House with gun barrel views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge a few doors down from United Cinemas Opera Quays.
Hollywood movie star actor, producer, businessman, restauranteur and philanthropist Mark Wahlberg says, “I am thrilled to announce Opera Quays at Circular Quay as the location of our first Wahlburgers in Australia. After personally seeing the location, I believe we’ve chosen one of the most iconic venues in the world.”

Sam Mustaca, CEO of Wahlburgers Australia & United Cinemas says, “We’re so excited to be working with Mark, Donnie and Chef Paul Wahlberg on opening the first of 20 Wahlburgers across Australia and New Zealand. In my opinion, this really is the best Wahlburgers location on the planet with patio views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and adjacent to the Opera House, this will be a Wahlburgers experience like no other.”
Located at 7 Macquarie Street, Opera Quays in Circular Quay ( former Buckley’s Restaurant) and with seating indoors and outdoors for 250 guests, the first Wahlburgers family restaurant in Australia will open, subject to Covid19 restrictions, by Christmas 2021 creating 65 jobs. It will be open all day from breakfast to late at night and offer a full menu with a couple of Aussie classics, premier bar, full breakfast, coffee/ espresso bar, merchandise and souvenirs. The 20 restaurants to be opened over the next 5 years will create over 500 jobs and represents a $50 million dollar investment.
