MakesCents.com.au is joining forces with Finsure chasing a slice of the $3bn mortgage broking industry in Australia.

MakesCents.com.au is a comparison website in Australia and New Zealand and allows consumers to compare quotes and prices on life insurance, home loans, health insurance, electricity and gas, and more. 

MakesCents.com.au currently generates thousands of home loan enquiries per month, from refinancing through to first home buyers and even commercial lending enquiries. These leads are distributed to medium and large mortgage broking firms and aggregators to service the lead and remunerate on a cost per lead and revenue-share basis. In aggregating under Finsure and hiring mortgage brokers internally, the company plans to vertically integrate and convert their own leads into application and begin building their own mortgage book. 

MakeCents.com.au is the brainchild of award-winning digital marketing agency; EMBR Group. Jimmy L’Almont, EMBR Group Managing Director announced the new direction: “We would currently be one of the largest lead generators in the Australian financial services space. The pivot into vertical integration and servicing our own leads in-house is a long term play to leverage our existing data and build value and customer loyalty around the MakesCents.com.au brand. We also have some lofty ideas for innovation and disruption in the space.”

MakesCents.com.au will start with three mortgage brokers and 2 support staff with ambitions for scale over the next twelve months.
