Announcement posted by M-Files Corporation 29 Oct 2021

SYDNEY, AUS – October 29, 2021 – M-Files Corporation, the intelligent information management company, today announced that it has been recognized in the 2021 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Content Services Platforms (1) report. In the Gartner evaluation of 20 vendors on four uses cases, M-Files received scores that were among the top three highest across all Use Cases. M-Files received the highest score for the Information Governance Use Case (4.18 out of 5) and the second-highest score for the Business Role Hub Document Management Use Case (3.61 out of 5), which the company views as a testament to its innovative federation and metadata capabilities.
"We believe our leading scores in two of the four use cases in this year's Gartner Inc.'s Critical Capabilities for Content Services Platforms is a reflection of our commitment to overcome the challenges presented by legacy inflexible document management solutions," said Antti Nivala, founder and CEO, M-Files. "During the shift to hybrid work, employees have leveraged metadata to not only search and organize but also to manage, secure, share, and improve visibility of content. We feel our strong metadata foundation and federation capabilities provide a unique level of flexibility that enables organizations to easily adapt to changing business needs -- empowering a smarter way to work."
In addition, M-Files achieved the third-highest score among 20 vendors in the Content and Process Automation Use Case (3.55 out of 5) and the Cloud Office Content Services Use Case (3.46 out of 5). In addition to use cases, the report also evaluated vendors on critical capabilities. "We are pleased to have earned coveted distinction among 20 vendors across all use cases and key critical capabilities in the evaluation," said Nivala.

Its metadata-driven, repository-neutral, and AI-powered platform combines intuitive document management with adaptable business processes, empowering knowledge workers to find and use the information they need with the context that matters to improve productivity.
