The Profit Protection Future Forum Wins the Outstanding Security Performance Award for 2019’s Outstanding Security Partnership

The Profit Protection Future Forum was presented with the prestigious Outstanding Security Performance Award on the 17th of October for Outstanding Security Partnership. The Profit Protection Future was awarded the distinction over other finalists Access Group Solutions & The GPT Group, with Wollongong City Council & Wollongong PAC, and MSS Security & Museums Victoria.

The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) recognise and reward companies and individuals across the security sector. The OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers to be recognised and their success to be celebrated.

OSPA winners were selected by an esteemed panel of industry figures who judged entries using the same criteria which is applied across the world.  Each winner demonstrated that they have performed at an exceptional level and has shown their commitment and outstanding performance within the security sector.

Professor Martin Gill, founder of the OSPAs, said:

“Congratulations to all the finalists tonight, and especially to all the winners. They have set examples of performance that reflect well on the security sector. Around the world the OSPAs are showing that security, when done well, is a key component of a top performing organisation and to a safer society. Tonight has shown that this is definitely true of Australia.”

About the Profit Protection Future Forum

The Profit Protection Future Forum was formed in 2015 and is led by Australasian retailers who wanted to encourage collaboration and best practice in loss prevention. To this day the PPFF is the only not-for-profit organisation in Australia focused purely on helping Loss Prevention teams.

From the outset, the PPFF had a goal to position itself differently. Retail LP leaders donated their time towards the goal of encouraging industry networking and collaboration because retail crime affects EVERY store, regardless of whether it’s a supermarket, pharmacy or apparel store. While retailers may compete with each other for shopper dollars, they are united in wanting to fight the dishonest customers.
