The PRWIRE Press Releases https:// 2018-06-06T22:06:57Z Businesses Are Investing in Technology to Improve Customer Experience, but Many Are Still Falling Short of Giving Customers What They Want 2018-06-06T22:06:57Z businesses-are-investing-in-technology-to-improve-customer-experience-but-many-are-still-falling-short-of-giving-customers-what-they-want Nearly two-thirds (60%) of respondents in Australia say more work is needed by companies to improve their online experience Customer experience (CX) ratings vary by vertical with hospitality leading the way globally More than half of all respondents think machine-to-people interactions will improve CX Australian consumers still believe they will have the better customer experience in a physical location than an online store A new Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW) survey of 5,000 adults from Australia, the United States, UK, France and Germany indicates a measurable disconnect between the advancements organisations think they are making to deliver exceptional customer experience and how customers actually view their commercial interactions. Specifically, less than half of respondents believe the technology needed to deliver the perfect online buying experience is available. This stands in stark contrast to findings of a previous Mitel survey in which 90 percent of IT decision-makers optimistically reported progress in improving customer experience through the use of technology. While a clear sign of the growing pains associated with digital transformation initiatives underway globally, the new survey also uncovers an opportunity for technology to play a key role in defining and keeping pace with changing buyer behaviour and preferences. In fact, over half of those surveyed believe machine-to-people interactions will positively transform the customer experience (51% in Australia). Vertical Visionaries, Leaders and Followers As customer experience becomes increasingly critical for businesses to remain relevant and compete, Mitel’s survey shows differences in customer satisfaction across vertical industries. Growing use of cloud communications and applications, combined with emerging technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, chatbots, and natural language processing (NLP), are creating new ways for companies to nurture and build customer relationships. Winning companies will be those that are able to differentiate their brands by delivering seamless experiences across physical and digital environments, devices and channels. Currently, some segments are doing better than others. Hospitality leads the charge: Hospitality management knows the first stop on the itinerary for today’s travellers are online review sites. Before booking a trip, consumers want to hear what others have to say. In fact, it’s a near-universal activity. Given the impact reviews can have on average daily room rates, it’s no surprise this industry takes customer satisfaction seriously, receiving top marks among those surveyed. Australians also responded with high satisfaction rates (41%) with regards to their online experience with hospitality providers. Physical retail isn’t dead, but the customer experience is: More than 60 percent of shopping done by respondents still takes place in a physical store, though that number is shifting. When asked about the challenges faced by today’s brick-and-mortar retail outlets, three out of five respondents say the fact retail stores are struggling has more to do with the customer experience they provide, not products. While Australians are currently shopping in physical stores at much higher levels (74%) they agree with their global counterparts that customer service just doesn’t exist anymore. A seamless omnichannel approach is critical for this market, where more than one-third (36%) of Australian respondents note they make purchasing decisions based on the experiences brands provide versus the products and services offered. Chatbots can be used to manage simple tasks, while IoT and team collaboration tools open up new avenues for communications across media, whether it’s voice, email, SMS, web chat, social media or a website. Speed is the game in sports and entertainment: In the fast-paced world of sports and entertainment, immediate and clear communication is a necessity. Forty-nine percent of Australian respondents point to simplicity and speed as the most important factor in a good customer service experience, slightly higher than the global average (45%). Availability vital in healthcare: Healthcare organisations receive the lowest marks from respondents in all countries when it comes to customer service. Australian respondents, in particular, say availability and 24/7 service (40%) is the most important feature they look for from healthcare services, followed by simplicity and speed (36%). Additional insights from the data indicate: Bots, AI and machines can fill the customer service gap: Consumers appear to be increasingly comfortable with machine-to-people interactions when shopping online, with over 78 percent of Australian respondents saying they are satisfied dealing with automated processes. Most do not want to interact with a person while shopping online unless the service is very complicated, or they are having trouble finding the product or service they need. Half of Australian consumers and over 60 percent of U.S. respondents say if they could shop without speaking to a person, it would be a good thing. Even so, physical retailers need to balance the use of technology. Consumers do expect people to efficiently help them when shopping in a physical storefront. Mobile reigns supreme in the United States; Australia favours in-store: Of all respondents, U.S. and Australian consumers shop most frequently during a typical week. There are also notable differences by country regarding how and where consumers shop. U.S. respondents reach for their smartphone and use apps; Britons like shopping online via their tablets; French shoppers most often use their laptops; Germans are more likely to use a desktop computer; and Australians prefer a physical store location (74%). In Australia, brands can’t be complacent about improving their online presence. While more Australians still prefer buying goods and services in physical stores, more than two in five (42%) say they want to shop even more online, and just one in ten Australians (9%) say they don’t like shopping online at all. Seven in ten Australians (71%) say overall, shopping online is more convenient than shopping in a store. To meet this growing demand for online services, and the change taking place in consumer behaviours and expectations, brands need to consider a greater level of consistency across both the online and physical experience for their customers. Mitel’s study is the latest in its Business Insights Survey Series, which builds on previous research from August 2017 where more than 75 percent of IT decision-makers said they planned to tie together devices, emerging technologies, and communications and collaboration capabilities within two years to enable machine-to-people interactions to improve customer experience. This body of work expands on the concept established by Mitel in 2016 of “Giving Machines a Voice” to enable IoT and other machine triggers to launch real-time communications workflows that can improve how companies work and collaborate. Exploring a different angle, this survey examines how consumers view customer experience in shopping for goods and services across market segments, including retail, hospitality, sports and entertainment, health care, financial services and utilities. Quotes “As physical and digital worlds begin to seamlessly intersect, how effectively a company serves its customers across both domains determines tomorrow’s winners and losers,” said Jon Brinton, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience Solutions at Mitel. “By supplementing existing applications and investments with new technologies such as AI, team collaboration and IoT, companies can better communicate and collaborate internally and externally and begin to proactively deliver the level of customer experience buyers expect.” “The data shows no matter where you are in the world, customer experience matters—bottom line,” said survey administrator Regina Corso of Regina Corso Consulting. “In order to truly connect with customers on their own terms, organisations must look for new ways to balance technology investments with personalised customer service. Those that are able to navigate this balance will go on to build strong brand loyalty with their customers, helping them succeed in today’s highly competitive purchasing environment.” Additional Facts Mitel has been recognised as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications for four consecutive years. Fast forward to 2002, when Jermaine was 20, he started making a name for himself, showcasing his natural talent for the game playing in streetball tournaments at the infamous ‘Rucker’ courts in New York often frequented by college coaches and professional scouts. It was during these tournaments that Jermaine finally got his break into college basketball having played for Kansas State and St. Johns University, top level Division 1 basketball.    “The game of basketball comes with a lot of struggles, if you weren’t a high profile player or a top commodity coming through the ranks of high school, AAU or representing a junior association the world would never know about your talents and you would never earn the same respect as a ball player. The term for this in the professional basketball world is ‘basketball politics’, in streetball such a term doesn’t exist”. “Streetball is a whole new platform for basketball here in Australia, there is currently over 1 million people playing registered basketball Australia wide, with the same challenges I faced as a child trying to break into the big time, I believe the way to help Aussie kids do this is to go back to my roots which is Streetball. December 1 – December 3, 2017 Jermaine’s dream will become a reality with the signing of a major partnership with Nike and Footlocker bringing Jermaine’s inaugural streetball tournament - Streetball Australia to Docklands, Melbourne. 24 teams, including international teams from Tonga and Samoa will battle it out for the major prize of $25,000. Teamster App Is a Sporty Tinder & Instagram Sandwich 2015-01-29T02:45:37Z teamster-app-is-a-sporty-tinder-amp-instagram-sandwich Melbourne, VIC, Australia (PRWIRE) January 29, 2015 Available today, the app Teamster offers users the ability to find people nearby to play sport with, as well as organise sports activities with friends and Teamster users. With 19 sports currently on offer, Teamster is designed for everyday runners, cyclists, ball or water sportsmen and women, as well as being a huge benefit to travellers. Whether the user is a beginner or an elite athlete, Teamster will find new training buddies and sort out who is coming to play on the weekend without having to ask everyone individually. After logging in through Facebook, users will be asked to select the sports they play and the skill level associated with each sport, from Level 1 (Beginner), to Level 5 (Elite). Teamster will then suggest the best suited people through its precise recommendation engine. The user can begin Tinder style swiping through the users who play the same sport, with a similar skill level, in their area. A swipe to the right will send a team request, while a swipe to the left will skip the user. On the Instagram inspired activity feed users will be able to see and join upcoming nearby activities that their teammates and other users have created for their selected sports, (an activity is a sports session with a set day, time, location, specific sport and level). The activity map reveals the same activities in a map format, with each activity displayed as a sports symbol in the location that the activity will be taking place. When any user joins an activity the creator will receive a notification, while all attendees will be reminded of the activity prior to the start time. To create an activity, the user clicks on the Instagram-like orange button in the centre of the bottom menu bar. The user can then enter the activity details; sport type, day & time, description, duration, location and select who can join the activity, (anyone, teammates and their friends or teammates only). Users also have the option of posting the activity to Facebook. “As an ex racing cyclist and runner, I realised there was room for a platform that would make it easier for sportsmen and women to connect and see what everyone is doing for the week, it’s something that I wish was created earlier” says 22 year old Teamster CEO and Co-Founder, Sam McCallum. The design and functionality of Teamster has a sporty feel to it, with users’ profile pages as an American style college locker, featuring a jersey with the user’s last name and the jersey number as the user’s age. Users are able to upload 5 profile photos and write a small bio which is all shared with other users. User privacy has been taken into consideration at every stage of Teamster’s development; users have the ability to block their profile from being seen and contacted by the opposite gender, while users between the ages of 13 and 17 will only be able to see other users within this age bracket. Teamster is currently available for free on iPhone & iPad, with the Android version coming soon. Please visit for more information on Teamster, including app videos, screenshots, a press kit, all social media accounts and a brief description on the development team behind Teamster. To install Teamster: Movement optimization - the missing link? 2014-10-23T06:58:23Z movement-optimization-the-missing-link When we train we spend exorbitant amounts of time on planning and analyzing our reps, our sets, weight lifted or time to complete our workout. However we rarely fail to look at and think about what is perhaps the most important thing we have, and that is our movement quality.   This is something that has slowly come to the forefront of the fitness industry due to the efforts of a few key people but needs a much bigger push into the eyes of the mainstream fitness consumer. One of the biggest progressions made is the growth of the Functional Movement Screen, introduced by Gray Cook as a tool for trainers to use to quantify the quality of their clients movement patterns and give them the tools to create positive change. The increase of popularity of fitness personalities like Ido Portal and their movement based philosophies have led to more awareness and development of movement quality.   While investigation of these systems and philosophies can be worthwhile it can be time consuming and hard to find a good starting point. What we will provide for you here are 5 tips you can implement immediately to improve the quality of your movement.  1. Breathing   Breathing is the fundamental quality of any movement practice. The ancient martial arts and yoga have always integrated breathing into their practice and this is something that modern movement and exercise have neglected.   A great idea to improve movement quality and breath simultaneously is to limit all your breathing during a moderate training session to nasal breathing only. This will have the following benefits:   - balance the nervous system, leading to a flow state - optimize core function - prevent a stress response from exercise - and much more   This is a particularly great idea for cardio exercise and will improve your cardiovascular fitness immensely. It is not recommended for power exercises like Kettlebell swings or Olympic lifting.  2. Self limiting exercises: Put them in your program   This is another concept introduced by Gray Cook. Basically it involves performing exercises that have built in correcting qualities.   An example of this is jump rope. It is impossible to jump rope with poor alignment and form, it builds quality of movement as part of successful execution.   Here are some self limiting exercises you should try:   - Barefoot running - Rock climbing - Battling ropes - Most single leg exercises - Kettlebell presses done bottoms up - gripping the handle bell upsides down   These are a great start to your self limiting exercises. Try them out.    3. Think of training as practice, not working out   This is a huge paradigm shift for most people. Most people go to the gym trying to destroy themselves and sweat as much as possible. This may be fun but it is certainly not productive.   A good idea is to use one day at the gym to practice a particular lift. A good idea is to practice the dead lift. Spend one training session working on form and perfect execution of a lift. As a bonus sided effect of this practice session is that you will get smoked as a side effect.  4. Stop each set before failure   Many people take each set to total failure. This will lead to suboptimal movement quality. It is a good idea to stop the set with one or two reps left in the tank. This will ensure every set looks good.   Another benefit is that it will lead to optimal muscle fiber recruitment. Perfect reps recruit the most muscle fibers needed for the job and as form degrades, range of motion decreases and speed changes you are fatiguing and not recruiting all your muscle fibers. Make sure all reps in a set look the same, from first to last.  5. Try a new sport or activity   Trying new activities can help you improve your movement skills. For example, taking up rock climbing can improve performance in the pull up exercise. Learning dance can help improve movement awareness in leg training exercises.   If you continuously learn new skills and add to your movement vocabulary you will gradually find your movement quality in your training getting better and better.   Try and implement the tips above and watch your quality of movement improve rapidly. Enjoy the movement journey.  For more inforamtion please contact Paul Meldrum from DC Health Performance. It is an unavoidable fact of life that we will all be subjected to many different stressors and have to deal with it. Stress can also lead to many different signs and symptoms and is a leading cause of stubborn fat, particularly on the abdominal area. Stress can cause: Premature ageing Abdominal fat Alter your blood sugar control Ruin your sleep cycle Massive amounts of inflammation Don’t be a victim to stress – take charge of it Since stress is something we all have to deal with and isn’t going away anytime soon, here are our top 7 tips to help you beat stress and drop fat off your abs.1. Drink green tea Green tea is an absolutely fabulous healthy drink and has 100′s of potential benefits. It can effectively mitigate the inflammation and oxidative stress caused by high levels of stress. One thing to be aware of is that a fairly high amount of green tea needs to be consumed for a therapeutic effect. 3-5 cups a day should do it, or consider a green tea concentrate supplement.2. Consume lots of antioxidants Antioxidants are very important when you are stressed as it will help your body produce glutathione, the primary antioxidant your body needs to deal with stress. You need to ensure you consume them with nearly every meal. Berries, dark green vegetables and spices and herbs are ideal.3. Meditate or take up a mind body practice The benefits of these kinds of practices cannot be overstated. For example, meditation has been found to reduce an inflammatory marker called Il-6, which is a sign of high stress and anxiety. The best activities you can try are meditation, yoga and traditional martial arts. Which one you choose does not matter, it is as long as you enjoy it and do it consistently.4. Take magnesium – lots of it Magnesium is the anti-stress mineral and will help you sleep deeply. It is highly worthwhile to consume at all times, but particularly when stressed. Taking it at night time with your evening meal is your best option. Another great option is an Epsom salt bath. This has 2 benefits: it loads your body with magnesium and the bath itself is very relaxing! Adding essential oils like lavender can only improve the experience.5. Consume adequate fats including Omega 3′s All stress hormones that we make are derived from dietary fat. Having a highly stressful lifestyle and a low fat diet is a recipe for disaster as you will not be supplying your body the raw materials to make stress hormones. This will then cause further stress. Make sure you include Omega 3 fatty acids as they can increase the bodies antioxidant capabilities and reduce inflammation. Other good fats include butter, coconut oil, nuts and avocado.6. Consider a nutraceutical Sometimes you need some extra support when dealing with stress. Some of the best nutraceuticals we have found for this purpose are: Phosphatidyl Serine: This is especially effective in reducing the primary hormone of stress, cortisol. It is best taken in the evenings. Holy Basil: This is considered an adaptogen and can help your body produce more or less stress hormones depending on what you need. It is best taken throughout the day. Acetyl L Carnitine: This is a great addition if you have trouble waking up and being alert in the morning. Do not take after 2pm.7. Fill in a gratitude journal This is a great way to improve your sleep and improve your ability to deal with stress. All you need is a diary and a pen and before you go to sleep, simply write down all the things you are grateful for that occurred in that day. This will help frame your mind in a positive late, which will stop your mind from racing at night. Having a positive worldview will also help you deal with stress better with a lower response of stress hormones. Stress is always going to be there and that is something we have to learn to live with. Hopefully the tips in this lesson will help you manage your stress better and you should start to experience faster fat loss on your abs. For more information please contact Paul Meldrum from DC Health Performance. There is nothing more frustrating than eating well, exercising diligently and not seeing results on the scale or the tape measure. One factor that needs to be addressed and can make all the difference in your results is inflammation. Inflammation can manifest in the body in numerous ways. Some things that will cause inflammation in the body include: A poor diet that is high in grains and processed foods High levels of stress Trans fats and a lack of Omega 3 fats Lack of physical activity Toxicity and heavy metals Lots, lots more! If inflammation is ignored it can lead to many different problems. When inflammation moves from acute to chronic it will start to cause cell and tissue destruction. This will lead and contribute to the development and progression of all disease processes. As you can see inflammation is a major problem that can definitely affect your fat loss efforts. Here are the 7 steps we recommend you follow to reduce inflammation.1. Optimize your Omega 3 to Omega 6 ratio. This is the most important step to follow to sort out inflammation in the body. Omega 3 and omega 6′s are essential fats that we need to consume in the diet. As a general rule omega 6 fatty acids are inflammatory and found in high amounts in the diet. Omega 3′s are anti-inflammatory and are not consumed enough. You can increase your consumption of oily fish like salmon or supplement with fish oil. Make sure you reduce processed foods in your diet to reduce Omega 6 fatty acids.2. Eat berries to reduce inflammation Berries are absolutely packed with antioxidants which reduce inflammation quickly. They will also lower oxidative stress which is a contributor to ageing and heart disease. Consume these foods on a daily basis and rotate between all different types of berries. Remember to try and eat strawberries that are organic as they are one of the foods most heavily sprayed with pesticides.3. Resistance train 3-4 times per week This is a great way to improve body composition and lower oxidative stress which is a contributor to inflammation. It is ideal to follow a muscle building training protocol to get the best results.4. Supplement wisely for inflammation Supplements can be used very effectively to reduce inflammation. The 5 main supplements we recommend are Fish Oil, Vitamin D, Magnesium, Zinc and Curcumin. Curcumin is the nutrient found in the spice Turmeric which could be the most powerful anti inflammatory herb available.5. Go gluten free to lower intestinal inflammation Gluten is the highly inflammatory protein found within wheat and wheat products. It increases inflammation by agitating the intestinal wall of the small intestine. Gluten can be found in many different products so take care to read all food labels. Following a Paleo food template may be a good idea to reduce inflammation.6. Heal the gut A healthy gut leads to a healthy body. If the gut has high levels of inflammation and damage it can totally stop fat loss. Some ways to improve gut health include taking probiotics and glutamine, drink more water and increasing fiber intake.7. Balance your blood sugar The reasons for this are two fold: Unbalanced blood sugar is inflammatory in and of itself and when your blood sugar drops you will be more likely to eat high sugar and highly inflammatory foods. If you feel inflammation is one of the things holding you back try and follow the advice in this article. You should see some quick drops in body fat.   For more information please contact Paul Meldrum from DC Health Performance. The debate about the importance of calories has raged on in the fat loss industry for the last 20 years. Many people claim they are all that matter while other camps claim they are irrelevant. In our opinion they matter, but they are a part of the bigger picture. If you have addressed blood sugar, inflammation, food intolerances, stress and hormonal balance then addressing your unique calorie needs can really help you accelerate your fat loss results. Here is what we tell our clients to do to maximise their results when trying to drop fat by manipulating their calories.1. Ensure you are eating enough calories The most common problem we see when working with clients is that they are not eating ENOUGH calories. If you do not eat enough calories your body will slow down your metabolic rate to maintain balance. If you keep eating too low an amount your body will refuse to burn fat.  2. Work out the amount of calories you need for your goal To lose fat you need to eat the right amount of calories for your goals. Here is a good rule to follow to ensure you eat enough calories to maintain a good metabolic rate and have a weekly calorie deficit. To work out your number take your bodyweight in pounds (kg x22) and multiply this by 12 and 14. This will give you your calorie range. For example, a 60 kg person would have to eat between 1584 and 1848 calories per day to lose fat. Staying in this range consistently will guarantee results.3. Ensure you have a weekly calorie deficit The most important factor when looking at calories for fat loss is ensuring you have a deficit in calories over the course of a week. A deficit of 500-1000 calories per week will lead to great results.4. Every now and then cycle your calorie intake. Every now and then a great way to accelerate progress is to increase your calorie intake rapidly and then return to your baseline level. When you do this, it will stimulate your bodies metabolic system to burn fat faster and when you return to your baseline you can take advantage of the faster metabolic rate. Try not to go crazy when you do this, 1.5 times normal is ideal.5.Track your calories to ensure consistency To ensure compliance using a simple calorie tracking tool can really help you to identify if you are sticking to what you have to do. Many people find when they do this they quickly learn how far off they really are from what they need. Calories can hep you achieve optimal fat loss if the primary factors we have already discussed have been addressed. In the next part of this series we will teach you all about the importance of different macronutrients and how to manipulate them for the ultimate fat loss results and to get in the best shape of your life. For more inforamtion please contact Paul Meldrum from DC Health Performance. In elite professional sports, all teams have high quality uniforms. Shoddy uniforms are not an option because they present an unprofessional image. Teams looking for every edge they can get, both from a competitive and a promotional standpoint, put a lot of money into their uniforms, from design to materials to the final product. Once the uniforms are delivered, professional leagues and teams have strict rules as to how uniforms must be worn. From the promotional end, this allows teams and leagues to present their product in a standardised manner and allows for ultimate quality control. From a playing standpoint, most professional and elite amateur athletes are very proud of their uniforms. When an athlete retires from competition, there is almost always a reference to “putting the uniform on for the last time.” This is no accident. The uniform, while it may seem to just be a few articles of clothing, represents the fact that an athlete is playing for the team whose uniform he or she wears. What It Means to the Recreational Athlete or SponsorLook Great, Play GreatNumerous studies have shown that appearance has an effect on self-confidence. In other words, people tend to feel the most confident when they look the best. In sports, it is universally accepted by sports psychologists that there is a direct correlation between self-confidence and performance. All for One, One for All…All research leans toward uniforms increasing the individual’s identification with their team. When everyone is dressed in a uniform of which they are proud of, it tends to make a team more cohesive and can increase camaraderie. These are all generally accepted as factors for higher performance.PrideFrom recreational to professional, most athletes wear high-quality uniforms with pride. From a sponsor’s point of view, this can be important, because the recreational athlete will wear their uniform to and from events and often when they practise, especially in the case of bicycling, running or triathlons. But Does it Make a Difference?Scott Eaton, owner of ImagePak Marketing, provides custom team uniforms in the Perth area. He has provided uniforms for numerous teams, including the Port Hedland Darts team. According to Mr Eaton, “I don’t think anyone is going to say that a uniform can magically turn someone with no talent into a star, but I do think that a high quality uniform helps people play their best.”Mr Eaton continued, “A high quality uniform makes people look better, and when you look better, you feel more confident. We can’t guarantee looking great will help, but it certainly can’t hurt.”ImagePak Marketing is a custom team uniform provider based in Perth. Besides uniforms and other personalised apparel, they provide a full line of personalised promotional items such as stubby holders, Javacups and banners. Formerly seen more as “toys” and “children’s jewellery,” the silicone bracelet has become such a force in the charity and fundraising industries that conventional businesses have taken notice and are using them for their own advertising campaigns. From Humble Beginnings to Mainstream PopularitySilicone wristbands were seen as novelty or children’s jewellery up until 2004. They were mostly worn as a fashion statement by teenagers. This was especially prevalent in the US. In 2004, however, things were about to change when cancer survivor Lance Armstrong started his charity called Livestrong. Livestrong had hired an advertising agency, and the agency came up with the idea of using brightly coloured silicone bracelets. This would be a huge success, and far outstrip their original goal. Currently over 80 million Livestrong bracelets have been sold worldwide, his fall from grace notwithstanding. As a result of Livestrong’s success, the silicone wristband would soon become the “go-to” vehicle for fundraising. Charities started producing their own wristbands with their own causes printed on them and most got great results. Since good news does, indeed, travel fast, it wasn’t long before businesses decided to give silicone bracelets a try. From Reward to GiveawayWhile the charity model of selling the wristbands was extremely successful, many businesses decided to change the model by giving the bracelets away as a promotional tool instead of selling them for a “donation.” This has been very successful for many businesses, both national and local. Unique Characteristics of Silicone WristbandsSilicone bracelets have a few unique characteristics that make them very effective as promotional giveaway items. First, they are produced in bright colours. This helps them get noticed. It does no good to give away a promotional item that nobody sees or notices. Silicone wristbands are very visible.Another characteristic that makes silicone bracelets effective is that they are small enough to be comfortable and easy to carry, while being large enough that the advertiser’s message can be seen. This is a perfect combination for advertisers. In addition, silicone bracelets are very reasonably-priced, making them one of the most economical forms of advertising available. Scott Eaton, owner of ImagePak Marketing, a supplier of silicone wristbands, knows the power of the simple promotional giveaway item to provide numerous advertising impressions without spending a lot of money. According to Mr Eaton:“Silicone wristbands are a hot item right now because they provide so many advertising impressions at a comparatively low price. Every time someone sees one of your promotional giveaway products with your company name or logo, it creates an advertising impression. The person wearing it notices it numerous times a day and everyone they meet notices it, too.”Mr Eaton concluded, “That’s a lot of advertising impressions.”ImagePak Marketing provides silicone wristbands and other promotional items from their office in Perth. All items are custom made and their turnaround time is surprisingly fast. Weeks will compete as one of their imports in the upcoming Basketball Bundesliga ProA season that runs at the same time as the NBL, and will see Weeks depart Australia mid-August to commence pre-season training with the team.   Weeks impressed his new team’s coaching staff during the recent Sydney Kings team tour to China in May. He was a standout contributor in the side against the China B team, a US side and his new German team.   24 year old Weeks has spent the last four seasons with the Sydney Kings, both as a development player and then regular squad member. He has seen regular court time over the last two seasons in particular, often providing a much-needed spark off the bench and defensive intensity.   “I am very happy that Jarrad will join our team next season. He can give the team a lot on the court and I am really excited to work with him." said Michael Spöcker, Head Coach of Team Ehingen Urspring.   “Jarrad had an outstanding tour and was a standout for us. Our opponents were very impressed with him so we weren’t surprised to hear of this interest from Germany,” said Damian Cotter, Head Coach of the Sydney Kings.   “While he was certainly in the mix again for our consideration this season, we fully support his decision to take up this exciting offer and wish him all the best for a successful season and experience” he continued.   “This is an exciting opportunity for me to grow as a player and person. This international experience is crucial in my development, and my new team is known in Europe for having helped many players elevate their game to another level, which fits squarely with my own goals,” said Weeks.   “It was also gratifying for my performances in an international tournament to be recognised, especially when playing alongside other high calibre players including regular NBL starters.”   Weeks is proudly represented by David Wolf of Closer Talent Management.   For further information or interview enquiries please contact   David Wolf   Director Closer Communications and Talent Management M: 0411 111 787 E: A: 120 Cathedral St, Woolloomooloo NSW SpaTap - A portable shower that fits in your pocket 2014-05-29T06:11:38Z spatap-a-portable-shower-that-fits-in-your-pocket The SpaTap, is a pocket sized, flexible, portable eco-friendly shower and hand wash device.  SpaTap simply attaches to water filled plastic bottles to give a flow controllable water saving shower or tap.
