They sought a provider with a solid support structure who could deliver fast response times and technical expertise to deliver results. After a lengthy tender process, the final presentations made the choice clear. Godfrey explains, “Enablis were a relatively unknown name and the owners of the company felt a bit sceptical. After Enablis presented, they felt much more comfortable. They demonstrated an understanding of our business, as well as the breadth of knowledge they can bring to the table; not only in a technical sense but from a commercial point of view – highlighting some strategic advantages. After meeting them, we felt Enablis were a good fit for our company”. Godfrey was very happy with the transition process. He states, “The implementation was really first class. I was impressed with how smoothly everything went. On more than one occasion, Enablis identified potential issues early, and had already taken the necessary steps to mitigate them. But above all, they kept me informed so I was always aware of what was happening.” Jon Evans, CEO of Enablis said, “By transitioning Braemac to our comUnity platform, they can now take advantage of new era cloud technologies, providing not just cost savings, but companywide productivity and efficiency improvements.  There is no more time wasted on maintaining legacy equipment, and the IT team can focus on more exciting projects.” Godfrey shares how minimal the migration effects were felt on the business, “We had received no complaints; there was no downtime or negative feedback.” The stability of the network has been a source of relief to the IT team, and has freed up their time. Godfrey said, “We have just moved over to Office 365, an upgrade we didn’t consider at all possible on the old network. We didn’t need to upgrade our bandwidth or change any capabilities; our new network coped effortlessly.” “I know support is just a phone call away, and I have the confidence in the Enablis team to provide the answers I am looking for,” said Godfrey.  - END -About Braemac Braemac’s vision is to provide excellence in technical engineering services and supply chain solutions for the Australian and New Zealand manufacturing industry. Jon Evans, Managing Director of Azzurri Communications explains, “Companies with highly distributed networks that cross the Tasman, know all too well that New Zealand branches are often poorly equipped with broadband and legacy telephony instead of SIP Voice and business-grade data connections. The focus tends to be where the numbers are, and that is typically on the needs of their Australian network.” Traditionally, the challenge for many service providers is the cost and logistical difficulties to adequately equip the New Zealand offices. However, according to Chorus, self-proclaimed guardians of New Zealand’s telecommunications network, the expansion of New Zealand’s Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) has given 80% of New Zealanders access to fibre. The implementation of the UFB in New Zealand has enabled Azzurri to offer the same business-grade connectivity and access to the full suite of its comUnity® managed services. “Now Azzurri customers with New Zealand branches can enjoy the same high quality service as in Australia. The benefits to business are multiplied with improved collaboration, faster data transfers and uptime, streamlining efficiencies, and cost reductions to name a few,” said Evans. Azzurri’s comUnity® platform comprises of the following modules: o             comUnity® Data - A highly scalable, secure and flexible platform that provides optimum data connectivity across all the sites in your business. o             comUnity® Voice - A technology to replace or overhaul voice infrastructure, delivering enterprise-grade quality, low-cost SIP and cloud voice, organisation-wide. o             comUnity® View - A secure online portal that allows you to view, control and manage your communications estate. o             comUnity® Wi-Fi - A high-performance next- generation Wi-Fi solution designed for simple and secured guest and staff access. o             comUnity® Video - A premium-quality, affordable solution that allows video collaboration with anyone, on any device, at any location – without IT involvement. o             comUnity® Secure - A next-generation managed firewall service that safeguards your applications, users, and content. The Anne Street Partners business recognised the need to upgrade their existing communications system as its performance was essential to enhance the advisers’ ability to provide a high quality user experience and productivity gains. Melinda Sheppard, Group Chief Financial Officer said key decision factors in selecting a provider came down to three key elements: service, commercials and fit. “Our business was being impeded by system outages and poor service so we sought a partner that could provide state of the art technology, infrastructure and proactive monitoring. Plus in addition to the technology we wanted a partner that shared our culture and vision,” said Sheppard. “We looked at five providers and Azzurri Communications quickly became a front-runner as their solution-set and pricing was spot-on from the start. As a result of meeting the commercials criteria straight away we were able to dedicate the remainder of the negotiations to developing the relationship between our organisations. Some other providers spent too much time on reworking the numbers, rather than all the essential elements” she said. Azzurri’s comUnity Wi-Fi will also be installed to improve upon the collaborative culture and teamwork within the company. With access to Wi-Fi throughout the office, team members can utilise mobile - free from restricted, limited and patchy network access in parts of their offices. This will optimise their time and drive efficiency, ensuring they can focus on delivering better solutions to their clients. The Azzurri comUnity solution will ensure that Anne Street Partners can deliver upon their brand promise to clients with a fast and robust network, secure systems and a collaborative environment. “Azzurri seeks to have long term strategic relationships with customers with the aim of continually enabling their business through innovative managed IT services. Throughout the term of the contract our customers’ systems are proactively monitored, reviewed and managed on an on-going basis to ensure the highest levels of service,” said Jon Evans, Managing Director, Azzurri Communications. - END -About Anne Street Partners Anne Street Partners Holdings Pty Ltd operates offices throughout Australia. Jon tells of his experience on the night, “I rugged up and bedded down with nothing more than a sheet of cardboard and a sleeping bag for warmth. While the experience only gave me a glimpse of what it is like to be homeless, it certainly was an eye opener.” Jon shows us his “bed” for the night in this video here. “The focus of the night is really about educating us on the issues of homelessness. We hear from real people who share their first-hand experiences. The hardships they have to face is unfathomable. “It’s certainly strengthened my commitment to do something for this very serious issue, and I’m pleased to say that thanks to everyone who supported my efforts, I achieved my target and helped raise $5,025 this year.” There is still time to make a donation, all donations are tax deductible and go to Vinnies homeless services nationally. “I know how lucky I am. The following morning I got to go home, jump into a hot shower and see my loving family but sadly this is not the case for over 105,000 people who have nowhere to call home any day of the year,” reflects Evans. Evans is saddened that the perception of homelessness still carries a heavy stigma, “Homeless people are just like you and me – mums, dads and even small children, facing some very difficult circumstances. Vinnies are an amazing charity that are committed to providing real solutions for people without a home, but they need the funding to do it.” The latest statistics from St Vincent de Paul Society show that this year’s event has raised over $5.6 million. - END -   Azzurri Communications wins top 4 ranking in the MSP mentor 25 AANZ edition 2014-03-24T05:30:00Z azzurri-communications-wins-top-4-ranking-in-the-msp-mentor-25-aanz-edition MEDIA RELEASE For immediate release Azzurri Communications ranks in the top 4 in the MSPmentor 25 AANZ edition Report Awards Azzurri as one of the top managed service providers in Australia Sydney, Australia – March 2014 – Azzurri Communications has placed in the top 4 in the MSPmentor AANZ (Asia, Australia, New Zealand) edition.
