About Us

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife (FNPW) is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation, established in 1970 with a mission to protect and safeguard Australia's native plants, animals and cultural heritage. Created by the 1967 Minister for Environment and NSW, Tom Lewis, FNPW was a way to ensure support for National Parks for the future by raising funds and awareness of Australia’s wilderness and wildlife.
