The Telco Together Foundation has been established as a unified vehicle through which the telecommunications industry, and service providers to the industry, can make a substantial contribution to disadvantaged communities. Through fundraising, volunteering and enabling technologies, the Foundation seeks to harness the dynamic, innovative and progressive nature of the industry to target issues of inequality and sustainability. Telcos are in a unique position of having direct communication with almost every business and consumer in Australia every month. By taking advantage of these characteristics, as well as the 70,000+ staff employed by the industry, we have the opportunity to create a massive vehicle for social change.
