Australian Fathers Day gift inspiration 2015

Independent Designers Emporium (IDE),  have seen a demand this year for more carefully selected gifts that can be used everyday and not just stuffed into a draw and forgotten about.

"We have noticed that shoppers are really treating their gift selection more like they would for Mums this year and really not leaving it till the last minute."

"The gifts of choice this year seem to be unique items that are not available widely in the stores. Shoppers seem to be supporting small designers much more than they have in the past."

IDE suggest visiting local markets or pop ups and seeking out something special instead of a generic gift which carries very little meaning. 

"We have designers on our site creating original gifts from your child's artwork, on trend limited edition prints with quirky messages or hand printed mugs which we think make much more appropriate fathers day gifts than a boring tie and probably cost the same. Whats more they are not hard to find. We do all the hard work on our site seeking out the handmade and original so you don't have to."
