Based in Melbourne, the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL) is the peak national body that represents the interests of manufacturing technology suppliers and users within the precision engineering and advanced manufacturing sector. The mission statement of the Institute is 'to educate and support our members to build a more successful Australian manufacturing industry.' In support of this commitment, AMTIL has developed a range of services tailored specifically to its member's needs. Publications AMTIL publishes Australian Manufacturing Technology (AMT) Magazine. A market leader, this magazine is distributed monthly to 10,000 key industry contacts. AMTIL also issues monthly newsletters to its members, keeping them up to date with relevant industry issues. Exhibitions AMTIL owns and operates the Austech trade exhibition, the major machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition for the Australian market. Austech provides a unique forum in which to generate activity between companies exhibiting manufacturing technology and visitors interested in expanding their horizons.
