Autism SA is one of Australia’s most recognised leaders in autism. Originally started by families of children with autism in 1964, today the organisation possesses a long & successful history of bringing many firsts to the community in South Australia and nationally and providing specialist expertise, information & advocacy to support our growing, national autistic community to get the most out of life. Autism SA has over 13,000 registered individuals on the autism spectrum, a workforce of over 300 staff , and train over 6,000 people annually. Our allied health, specialised supports, educational, research, training & consultancy services are recognised for best-practice, based on evidence-informed research in the field of autism and associated neurodiversities. We are continually expanding our range of quality services and supports, that are innovative and follow evidence based practice, to individuals across the lifespan, their families and professionals in a range of locations including the clinic, in-home, the community and schools.
