About Us

In late 2008 the South Australian Government's arts funding body, Arts SA, conducted a sector wide consultation of the arts & disability community. As a result Community Arts Network SA (CAN SA) was approached by Arts SA to work with the Disability Information & Research Centre (DIRC) as partners in stage 1 of a disability & arts transition initiative. This led to the formation of the Disability & Arts Transition Team (DATT), funded to support artists with a disability and foster the development of the profile and development of the arts & disability sector within SA. DATT provides information, networking and professional development opportunities to artists & organisations. We offer face to face advice & information sessions focusing on professional development.
