About Us

Fairfax Magazines publishes New Zealand's premier lifestyle magazines under the Fairfax banner. It is a relatively new division within the Fairfax group. New Zealand Growing Today and New Zealand Gardener were bought in the mid-90s along with New Zealand Fishing News, which prompted the launch of Fish and Game New Zealand. The acquisition of NZ Trucking followed and led to the creation of sister title, Truck & Machinery Trader.
