Food Frontier is creating the ecosystem for a more healthy and sustainable food future. We are an independent think tank and industry accelerator stimulating growth in tasty, high-impact protein alternatives, like plant-based meat and cell-based meat (animal meat grown from cells). By driving science-based solutions to the growing need and demand for healthier, more sustainable proteins, Food Frontier aims to create a more diversified, efficient and future-proofed food supply that is better for people and the planet. Plant-based meat alternatives and cell-based meat provide consumers with the familiar foods they know and love, like burgers, meatballs and sausages, with a fraction of the health and environmental impacts. We activate research and development, accelerate supply, and advocate consumption of healthier proteins, by advising and connecting food businesses, entrepreneurs, scientists, government and the community across Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia Pacific region.
