Got Ur Back Foundation Inc is based in Darwin and incorporated in the Northern Territory in June of 2016. It is worth noting that GUB was formed months prior to the call for a Royal Commission into Youth Detention & Child Protection. The Foundation board have spent the last two years researching, consulting with local Aboriginal people, and organisations to develop a culturally safe, evidence-based trauma informed service model to address the issues identified by the Royal Commission, and the community
