About Us

Greyhound Adoptions WA (GAWA) is a non-for-profit organisation that has successfully rehomed 2000 greyhounds since 2007, majority of which are ex-racers. GAWA have over 150 volunteers and around 60 dogs in foster care at any one time. GAWA are self-funded, relying on public donations and community fundraising to cover the costs needed to provide foster greyhounds with what they need. GAWA have a no-kill policy and have proven that no greyhound is too difficult to rehabilitate and rehome.
