Jump On It is based on the principle of collective buying. By guaranteeing merchants a certain minimum number of buyers, Jump On It is able to negotiate ridiculously low prices, rarely or never before offered to the public. Buyers can save up to 90% on deals in their city. Buyers purchase their coupons individually, but with only 24 hours before the deal closes, most tell their friends to jump on the deal to help activate the discount. When enough people jump on it, the deal is on. Each buyer is emailed their coupon as the deal goes on and can have up to a year to redeem it (depending on the deal).
