About Us

JustSociale is a new federal NGO launched to promote awareness of and to defend the human rights of Australians online. We are a formally accredited charity with the Australian Not-for-profits and Charities Commission. We believe that the Internet, including social media, should be safe and freely accessible to all. However, currently, it is not. By promoting the fact that our online human rights are no different to our offline rights, JustSociale aims to encourage proactive action amongst all stakeholders with an interest in Internet governance to proactively encourage societal change, and to minimise harm. We are doing this by forming a national alliance, and by acting as a communications body that provides information for diverse Australians so that they know how their online rights can be protected and defended.
