About Us

The Professional Fishers Association of NSW (PFA) is the largest and longest-serving representative body for commercial fishers across NSW. We were formed by commercial fishers to represent commercial fishers' interest in northern NSW and have since spread to include members from Tweed to Eden. We are focused on effective consultation and representation, sustainable fishing practices, protection of our historical fishing rights, the continuation and further development of a viable industry, and the promotion of our sustainable fishing industry
