Spatap Company profile: 1st prize winner Water4Africa Standard Bank 2015 1st prize winner Australian Aid Humanitarian Challenge 2017 Spatap’s mission is to supply a portable tap to anyone anywhere in the world that needs a tap so they can maintain their personal hygiene, prevent the spread of communicable diseases including Covid-19 and remain healthy. “Spatap” portable tap was invented by Stuart Mason. Spatap is a home grown family business and an ethical company. The Spatap device is made from durable Silicone which is food and water safe, fully recyclable and non toxic to the environment. Spatap saves water, upcycles used bottles and promotes handwashing and personal hygiene. The Spatap manufacturing process is part of the I.L.O (International Labour Organisation) meaning fair work practices and fair wages for all involved. Spatap is used recreationally in the outdoors for camping and hiking and also for Humanitarian purposes including WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene) Handwashing in schools.
