Statecraft was founded in late 2005 and initially provided government relations and public affairs advice and support. The founding partners of Statecraft were committed to leveraging their experience and understanding of the nexus between the corporate sector, the markets, the media and government for the benefit of clients. Statecraft quickly gained a strong reputation thanks to a sharp bi-partisan team that continually exceeded client expectations. Existing clients began to request additional assistance, particularly around regulatory and political risk, advisory services and financial communication. This saw two new complementary practice areas emerge within Statecraft, deepening the company’s offering for domestic and international clients.
