StockX, which counts musician Eminem; model and entrepreneur, Karlie Kloss and actor Mark Wahlberg among its investors, is a platform to buy and sell high-demand consumer goods by the same methods as the world’s stock exchanges. It was built on the idea of alternative asset classes and ultimately created a commodity market for sneakers.
