Emily’s journey into the real estate world began in an unexpected place: the classroom. A former teacher, she transitioned into education recruitment, which eventually enabled her to buy her first property at the age of 23. Without the guidance of a buyer's agent, Emily quickly realised the overwhelming complexity of purchasing a home. Identifying a gap in the market for someone young and approachable to help navigate this steep learning curve, she set out to fill that role herself. At just 25, she launched Wallace Advocates, leveraging her strong network and social media savvy to attract her first clients. Today, six years later, Emily and her team have carved a niche as approachable, knowledgeable advocates who exclusively assist those looking to become owner-occupiers. She’s also co-host of podcast ‘This is Property’, another platform through which she educates and shares many nuggets of property wisdom. As a millennial, Emily brings a fresh perspective and highly personalised approach.
