Eaton Agrees to Acquire Wright Line, Leading Data Centre Enclosure and Air Flow Management System Manufacturer



Sydney – 6 August 2010 - Diversified industrial manufacturer, Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN), has announced it has agreed to acquire Wright Line Holding, Inc., subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Worcester, Mass., Wright Line provides customised enclosures, rack systems, and air flow management systems to store, power, and secure mission-critical IT data center electronics. Over the last 12 months the company had sales of approximately US$101 million and has more than 350 employees.
