ArcitectaTM expands into the US: launches US operation at GeoINT

Tampa, Florida, US, and Melbourne, Australia: Australian firm, Arcitecta™ announced its global expansion, with the launch of its US operation at The GeoINT Symposium, the nation’s pre-eminent geospatial intelligence event.

Initially, the company will run its US business from Denver, with senior staff located in Denver, Colorado and Portland, Oregon.

Arcitecta’s expansion reflects the growing demand for the company’s Mediaflux® distributed data management platform and the success of its global partnerships, including its long-term relationship with SGI.

Mr Jason Lohrey, Chief Technical Officer, Arcitecta said: “Co-creation and collaboration are core foundations for how we work with our customers and partners in Australia, Asia and Europe. We will provide the same high-quality, commercial-grade support to our new and emerging customers in the US.”

“We have an experienced and capable team to run our US operation, with the appointment of US citizens, Graham Beasley and Todd Weybrew. Collectively, Graham and Todd have over 50 years experience of working in data intensive environments, so they understand the modern intelligence environment and the unique needs of defense users.

“Graham and Todd will build on the experience of our Australian team, to leverage the last 10 years work with innovative Australian and international organizations, to simplify complex distributed data management for our US clients.

“We understand the need to simplify the capture and management of our customers’ extensive data assets. We have shown time and again that reducing the interval between data capture and decision significantly increases our customer’s ability to respond to threats, because they are able to assess all available data, identify new patterns in the data and respond, in a timely manner, to changes in the environment,” Mr Lohrey commented.

Arcitecta’s infinitely flexible and extensible metadata management platform – Mediaflux® has been selected to automate and simplify the management of data and workflows for:

  • defense and geospatial imagery and intelligence organizations,
  • the leading provider of high-resolution imagery solutions,
  • the national wildlife health register, setup to fight the spread of disease from wild and feral animal populations to protect our health, livestock and environment,
  • leading medical research institutes, to identify the causal factors for the early onset of mental illness, improve the care of patients with complex health conditions and inform future treatment guidelines and policies.

“Our US customers know they need to streamline their information flows and enhance collaboration between trusted partners for better intelligence and business outcomes. They recognize they can achieve this goal with Mediaflux and are impressed with the results our customers in other parts of the world have achieved with us.

“Direct engagement and immersion are how we engage with our customers to address their complex distributed data management challenges. With senior professionals on-the-ground in the US, backed by data management experts in Australia, we will be working side-by-side with our US customers to simplify their data management so they can derive more value from their existing and growing assets,” Mr Lohrey concluded.
