Fort Lee, New Jersey – Nov xxx, 2013 – ABnote, a leading global card manufacturer and provider of financial and secure credentialing solutions announced today that ABnote Australasia has partnered with Qantas to deliver the next generation Qantas Frequent Flyer membership card.

The new-look membership card has been enhanced with functionality allowing Australia-based members to load money onto their card to use in Australia and overseas, giving members the opportunity to earn points on eligible purchases.1

The new card also acts as a multi-currency travel card, making travel more convenient.  Qantas has partnered with MasterCard® which means you can use the card wherever MasterCard is accepted electronically- at over 35 million locations in over 210 countries worldwide for everyday use in Australia, Qantas Cash allows purchases under $100 by using MasterCard PayPassTM where available.

“When you consider all the different things it does, this really is the Swiss Army knife of cards,” Qantas Chief Executive Alan Joyce said.
