For Childcare and Education Parents Turn to Rockingham Montessori School

Rockingham Montessori School OSHC has earned a reputation as a Christian school providing quality education for children ages 1-18 and superlative childcare. Children can enter the Infant Toddler Program at the age of 12 months. Sessions are available for youngsters up to the age of three. The playgroup meets three days per week during the school term where youngsters will enjoy arts and crafts, puzzles, outdoor playtime, and morning tea. Children learn skills encompassing motor development, socialization, and language acquisition.

The independent school Perth provides a gentle transition into the Children’s House for ages 3-6. Classes meet for morning sessions five days per week and when teachers determine they’re ready, four-year-olds move into full days that are held five days per week. Youngsters are provided with physical education, cultural activities, math, language and a sense of order.

Sensitive to the needs of children at each stage of development, Rockingham childcare also places an emphasis on music and the creative arts, along with geography and science. Maps, globes, photos, poems, and other materials are available to help children learn about their own culture and that of others to better understand the world they live in.

The Perth Christian school has a Primary Program for ages 6-12 years that’s separated into lower primary for ages 6-9 and upper primary for ages 10-12. Students continue their studies and add history, geography and geometry, along with biology and technology.

Students complete their education at the school in the Adolescent Program for 12-18 year olds. They learn about economics, entrepreneurships, work-related skills, and public speaking to further their development. Internships provide real-world experience and multiple high school alternative pathways to higher education are offered.
